▼About the Artist
【Toyozo Arakawa】
Mino ceramic artist representing the Showa period. Born in Tajimi City, Gifu. Seeking to reproduce the same shino of the Momoyama period, he built a semi-aboveground kiln modeled after an old kiln of the Momoyama period in Ogaya, where the ruins of the ancient Muta-do kiln were discovered.
