【Rokuro Nakamura】
Rokuro Nakamura was born in Okayama, Japan in 1914 and died in 2004. He studied under Living National Treasure Kaneshige Toyo and established his own kiln in 1955. Nakamura won prizes and awards at the Okayama Prefectural Exhibition, the Exhibition of the Ceramic Society of Japan, and the Exhibition of Traditional Crafts. He has produced excellent works, especially bizen sake cups. He had one son, Makoto Nakamura.
